Frustrated with district technology resources?
Trying to keep all of the technology changes straight has been a challenge this fall. The move from Skyward to PowerSchool has been messy and downright difficult for many families and staff. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage you to reach out to us for help if you’re still struggling to get connected. Our Online Family Tech Support is available at familyhelp@stillwaterschools.org or by calling 651-351-8404.
Why did we make all these changes anyway?
The simple reality is our old student information system, Skyward, was out of date. Most concerning, it no longer met the security standards required to protect our student data and our internal systems. We had no choice but to make some major changes to ensure we have a stable, reliable and safe system in place for the future. This meant a complete overhaul of our system and a lot of complicated behind-the-scenes work to make things integrate and work together. It’s been a huge adjustment for families, as well as for our staff.
