Kyle Kane selected as new Oak-Land Principal
Kyle Kane has been named as the new principal of Oak-Land Middle School. He will be transitioning into his new position over the next several weeks.
Kane has served as the assistant principal at Oak-Land since 2014-2015, and is well-known by students, staff and families. During his time in the school district, he also served as an interim principal at Afton-Lakeland Elementary School and filled in as interim principal at Oak-Land this past spring.
Prior to joining Stillwater Area Public Schools, Kane worked in South Washington County Schools as an administrator and teacher. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s in management and a master’s degree and principal licensure from the University of Minnesota.
“Kyle is an amazing administrator with strong connections and deep relationships with our Oak-Land community,” said Dr. Jennifer Cherry, Assistant Superintendent. “We are thrilled to have him step into this new role and lead OMS.”
